New ifix for InfoPrint Manager for Windows – V4.8.1.1
Amy Buckingham, WW ATS
A new ifix is available for InfoPrint Manger for Windows – V4.8.1.1, for both existing customers and trial requests. For existing customers, it is available on the official software download site as follows:
1. Go to the Software Download site: ricohsoftware.com/
2. Choose “Software Downloads”
3. Enter your EID
4. The primary page for My Downloads will appear. On the right side of the page, select the “View Related Files” link.
5. On the InfoPrint Manager Related Files page, you will see the link for the “InfoPrint Manager: Windows ifix”. Click on it to download the ifix. (Underneath, the link after “To see more details” will show the list of defects.)
For Trial Requests, the ifix is available as follows:
1. In the Trial Request Approval email, a link is provided to the Trial Download site that automatically enters the Trial ID
2. The Trial ID Downloads page will appear. On the right side of the page, select the “View Related Files” link.
3. On the InfoPrint Manager Related Files page, you will see the link for the “InfoPrint Manager: Windows ifix”. Click on it to download the ifix. (Underneath, the link after “To see more details” will show the list of defects.)
Note that the ifix does not replace the IPM/Win 4.8.1 available trial server code shown on the Trial ID Downloads page. (Therefore, any new IPM/Win trials should be instructed to follow steps 1-3 above to download this ifix.) Since the software contains keys, the ifix can be installed as a trial. In other words, there is no need to download the 4.8.1 ISO for IPM/Win. Only the ifix needs to be downloaded and installed.
All Ricoh Internal installs are now encouraged to either update existing 4.8.1 IPM/Win installs, or install this ifix for new installs. IPM/Win 4.8 customers should also update, or if new, use the ifix.
The defects DE36709 and DE36962 relate to cases when the ACL showed only the JobViewer group, and the server couldn’t be started, or when the Management Console could not be started at all.
