The initial setup of the InfoPrint Manager Web GUI is simple, following the steps in the instructions provided. IPM Web GUI Initial Setup - 2020.docx (582.12 KB) They cover AIX, Linux and Windows environments to get you started, using the standard FST security model of InfoPrint Manager. The instructions include defining a PSF TCP/IP printer, some simple customization of the interface, and submitting a test job. If you want to use LDAP/AD with InfoPrint Manager, then the next step would be to set that up, but having an FST-based admin ID defined ensures that the admin can always access the Web GUI. With LDAP/AD implemented, the LDAP/AD UserIDs would be used for logging into the Web GUI.

Hi everyone
Thank you Amy for this Document! We did the AD/LDAP integration. Now I can only login with an existing LDAP/AD User. Local FST Users (With admin rights in the Web GUI) are ignored. We use Version 4.10.1. If we turn off the LDAP Security, we can login with the local FST User.
Best regards, ben
