InfoPrint Manager V4.8.0 (available since 2/22) and V4.8.1 (became available 4/19)

InfoPrint Manager V4.8 became available on February 28th. On April 19th, V4.8.1 (EFIGSJ) became available, and that is what customers will then receive on the trial download site. Between February 28th and April 18th, V4.8.0 (English) is what was downloaded for trials. Note that for any trial requests, the customer will receive V4.8.1, on a 60-day trial basis. To request a trial, go to this URL: ricohsoftware.com/trial_request. (Official launches are in May for RUSA/RE/RJ. RA launch was in March.) For internal users, be sure to include 'ricoh' as part of the e-mail address to automatically be approved.
These are the key highlights in V4.8.0:
• Web GUI enhancements:
• InfoPrint Transform Manager Feature, which replaces former InfoPrint Transform Manager product
• New Printer Support – RICOH Pro C7200, C7200S, C7200SL, C7200SX, C7200X, C7210, C7210S, C7210SX, C7210X, C9200, C9210 printers
• Client enhancements for Linux Secure Mobile Print (LSMP) feature
• Notification Event for job rerouted to backup destination and "job reroute" report.
• The display of rip attributes in the detailed-messages attribute is now available.
• Added xfmfltr.out to custom steps for AIX and Linux.
• Email DSS now supports the resource-context attribute.
• Added accutone (ls) and dark2 (oc) halftone appearances for all InfoPrint 4100s printer models.
• IPM/Linux: Changed default file system type from ext3 to xfs. Added support for btrfs.
• Enhanced user interface with LDAP user lookup in the Management Interface and Management Console.
• IPM/AIX: The MVS Download log now has the capability of logging events of receiving printing jobs from the Host system. The performance of AIX MVS Download Log has improved.

- Dropped VC++ 2005 and 2008 redistributable package from the server installer.
- Dropped support for HP-UX and Sun/Solaris command line client.
- Dropped support for RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x
- PPFA Feature is now supported on Windows 64-bit platforms (in 32-bit compatibility mode).
